HIFU
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) Aftercare Instructions
Immediate Aftercare (Within First 24 Hours):
-
Avoid Hot Foods and Beverages: For the initial 24 hours following your HIFU treatment, please refrain from consuming hot foods or beverages. The treated area may be sensitive to heat during this time, and hot substances could cause discomfort and potentially affect your results.
First Week After Treatment:
-
Gentle Facial Care: During the first week after your HIFU treatment, prioritize gentle facial care. Avoid harsh scrubbing or aggressive cleansing, and use a mild, hydrating cleanser.
-
Facial Expressions: Be mindful of your facial expressions during this period. Minimize movements that involve opening your mouth too wide or excessive jaw usage, as it can strain the treated area.
-
Sun Protection: Protect your skin from direct sunlight. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily, even on cloudy days, to safeguard your skin from UV damage.
-
No Additional Treatments: Do not undergo any other facial treatments or procedures for at least two weeks after your HIFU treatment to allow your skin to recover optimally.
-
Hydration: Ensure you stay adequately hydrated by drinking plenty of water, which can aid in the healing process and overall skin health.
-
Patience: Understand that the full benefits of HIFU may take between 3 to 6 months to become noticeable. Be patient and allow your skin time to rejuvenate naturally.

FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER
Immediate Aftercare (First 2 Days):
-
Avoid Water Contact: For the first 48 hours following your Fractional CO2 treatment, it is essential to keep the treated area completely dry. Avoid washing your face with water during this initial period to allow the skin to heal.
-
No Makeup or Creams: Refrain from applying makeup, creams, lotions, or any other skincare products to the treated area during the initial 48 hours after Fractional CO2 treatment.
-
Rest and Elevate: Ensure you get ample rest and elevate your head when lying down. This helps reduce swelling and promotes the healing process.
-
Cold Compress (If Needed): If you experience significant swelling or discomfort, you may gently apply a cold compress (not ice) to the treated area for short periods. Be cautious not to apply excessive pressure.
Days 3 Onward:
-
Moisturize: Starting from the third day, you can apply a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer to the treated area. Daily use of a hydrating product, such as Monterizur, will help maintain skin moisture and promote healing.
-
Sun Protection: Shield your skin from the sun's harmful rays by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily. Sunscreen is essential to protect the treated skin from UV damage.
-
Minimize Sun Exposure: Limit sun exposure, and if you need to be outdoors, wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses to further shield the treated area from direct sunlight.
-
No Picking or Peeling: Refrain from picking, peeling, or scratching the treated area, as this can lead to scarring and complications.
-
Avoid Heat: Steer clear of hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms for at least a week after treatment. Heat can exacerbate skin irritation and should be avoided.
